  15.     Have any others had problems with ANIM previews created from LW?
  16. I did for awhile, but all seems to work again.  I wonder if it was 
  17. the screen saver and mouse blanker that I turned off.  Ideas, please?
  18. Question:
  19. Is there a problem with the stars on the USFlag in the Objects/Misc 
  20. drawer?

  22.     I created the waving flag tutorial, as suggested in Displacement
  23. Mapping.  Seems that if I select and <c>ut out the stars (Polygons),
  24. when I <v> paste them back down in another layer, they are just points.
  25. I tried this several times.  The quickie (not really) answer was to just
  26. connect each point back together and <p> create them as polygons again.
  27.  
  28.     The reason I wanted to get the stars out of the flag, is so
  29. that I could make Triple and Subdivide work a little smoother.  The
  30. flag was subdivided over 5 times.  The stars only needed subdividing
  31. once.  I then (v) pasted the (fixed) stars back into place.

  33.     After the effort, I must say my eyes opened up when I saw
  34. the flag move.  It works in preview mode too!
